Lily, thank you for sharing :-) Those were great tips, I would never think of trying another office oversees.
Luckily now we have this e-publishing format. Not only easier to break through, but also sounds like more money;-)

Great ideas!
Maybe we can try to organize our own supporting group, giving the fact that most of us here might go (or already went) for e-pubbing?

I thought the agent was an un-by-passable channel

I haven't uploaded there anything yet (waiting for my man to come up with the cover. While he, being a real artist, waiting in his turn for Muse to arrive, and the damn deity doesn't show up (for almost two weeks since I first asked ) But in the thread from AW, you've linked, there were some people complaining and some very satisfied. I really can't wait to do it!!! Did they give you free ISBN? (I'm counting on that )

The review sites are where you send your title for review. If they like it, a good review is a definite plus for marketing purposes. Let's put it this way: it sure can't do any harm. :-) Do I send it there after I've published the stuff? (I bet I'll be all blush reading these questions a few months later lol:D)

You just had to bring it up, aren't you?!!! lol HATE QL's and don't want to hear a word "agent" anymore, even if I'll be looking for a real estate lol. That's what I kept thinking (and told Stan). I'm afraid I'll go on believing in myself so much I'll keep trying to find an agent just to discover that when it happens there will be no print anymore

I like it, but I think it needs some tightening If I'm allowed to play with it a little (not that my opinion is professional in any way!) "We met on an Internet dating service. Both of us were in something of the same boat. I was recently divorced, and so was Frank. Paragraph break First of all, I fell in love with his picture – his boyish good looks. Then we spoke on the telephone. His voice won me over completely. I loved the way he said my name. “Jessica.” It was like a caress. And a voice is so important, especially in matters of the heart. For while The eyes may be the windows of the soul, but a voice is certainly the breath."
