I write adventures tales -- full of daring-do -- for early teens.

I've read posts on Water Cooler that some children's book publishers do not want art submitted with the book, but rather want to match the words and art themselves with their preferred artists.
Anyone come across any publishers like that lately?
Or even any publishers currently accepting children's book submissions?

I've read posts on Water Cooler that some children's book publishers do not want art submitted with the book, but rather want to match the words and art themselves with their preferred artists. That's the bigger publishers, Richard. But they're hurting now due to the Internet. Kids are enjoying interactive and animated books on the net with sound effects. And they can have a different story -- or several -- every night. Their parents prefer this option too, because the ebooks are usually free, or very cheap. Print can't compete with that.
