I say we make all PETA members eat this stuff for 10 years, study its effects, then decide if we want to allow it on our store shelves. PETA wants it, they can have it. Programs generated by profit and activism do not sell me. www.foodsafetynews.com/2012/01/peta-offers-1-million-for-successful-lab-grown-chicken/I belong to PETA myself. People Eating Tasty Animals. I am actually not a big meat eater, but when I see the FDA passing laws to avoid having to place GMO labels on Salmon, and yet try to make villains out of supplement companies, It bothers me they may possibly add even more artificial, and possible unidentified food sources, to our shelves because of an activist group. Just be informed that you may be paying prime dollars for prime cuts which are actually "meat glued" together. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9UbgF4A2uM&feature=relatedIf I've offended PETA supporters here, I love animals and conservation too. I hate cruelty to animals. But, I am also a balanced person and don't see things in an all or nothing fashion that pervades activism.

I'm a vegitarian... but PETA is a PITA. As for the fake food they can keep it. I'll stick to things that grow naturaly.

PETA tends to be a bit too extreme. I haven't eaten red meat in years, and stick to chicken only. I don't fancy the sound of this new product at all.
