I'm amazed that someone who offers writing courses could make such a blooper in "Bedtime Story." (It's the first story posted) The stories are supposed to take place in the 1930s, but pantyhose didn't come on the scene until the 1960s! This just goes to prove how tricky it can be setting your story in another era, and it calls for a lot of diligent research. www.barrelhousemag.com/?page_id=1931www.jeannelyetgassman.com/

Isn;t this a bit harsh? So she said pantyhose instead of stockings, so what?

Any reader worth his weight in salt is gonna spot this blooper right away and it'll pull him out of the story and ruin it for him. Besides, if this were just any old author there might be some excuse, but this one sets herself up as an expert and tutors others on how to write!!!!
