Yep, they showed real courage, knowing it has put them in danger. There was just no proof it was anything other than self-defense. About 50 miles north of where that happened, a fourteen-year-old burglary suspect fought a cop and got his gun out! A shot was fired! He almost killed a TRAINED cop. A fourteen-year-old! Yet, some keep saying Zimmerman, who was attacked by a seventeen-year-old, who was a lot taller than him, should have been able to handle Martin without using a gun. It was dark, and Martin was wearing a hood, so how could Zimmerman know how young he was? It's a tragedy, but NOT murder. Martin should have kept his hands off people. To compare this to a real civil rights case is just sick.
The expert witnesses and the cops backed Zimmerman's version of events. Zimmerman was returning to his vehicle when Martin jumped him from behind. When the first cop arrived on the scene he wrote in his notebook that Zimmerman was lying flat on his back on the ground with Martin on top of him beating him. He said Zimmerman was screaming, not Martin as has been previously claimed.
The media are being sued by Zimmerman for deliberately altering his 911 calls, and they've behaved abominably throughout. Not content to report on a story, they're in there creating it. Shameful. The cops did the right thing when they didn't charge Zimmerman, because he was not guilty of any crime. But enter political correctness because Martin was black and Zimmerman Hispanic. Notice how they tried to say Zimmerman was white, to make him more of a "racist?" Shocking and disgusting. One hundred hugs and thank yous to that brave jury. They stood up for justice in the face of lies, propaganda and threats from thugs.
