Strange observations. Usually my mouth gets me into trouble. In fact, it's a character issue with the protagonist in my book.
Technically (technically, technically) I should be the old guy by the curb, dispensing ideas and ideals from the sidelines.
By age, I should be slowing down. I act like a kid, I'm still building go-fast bikes, and my mouth still gets me into trouble. And I'm surprised daily that I don't get an e-mail from Lily with a message like, "Hey, you jabbering idiot, take your bikes, your attitude, and your tongue, and quit soiling my forum!"
My next sign-on will state, "Banned. Reason: Yikes, read his stuff! Date Ban To Be Lifted: The 9th Century of Purgatory!

I don't like all the banning crap that goes on in some forums, but some of it is a necessary evil. |

With the exception of one member, who was a screaming nutbar and stalked me and others with death threats, there hasn't been any reason to ban anyone. We're all adults here (I hope) and as such shouldn't require supervision.  |

He was an ex army vet with a mega amount of mental problems. At first I felt sorry for him and simply deleted his most offensive posts. But then he started to PM other members with a stream of obscenities. So he had to go. |
