While we might justifiably debate the genre of books on The Zombie Apocalypse, those moldering undead have been good for my business. And I'm not kidding.
Believe it or not, real, quality items are made with a zombie theme. And I sell lots of them. As most of you know, I'm a knife salesman, and I couldn't believe the products when they first came out.
The first one is a folding knife. It's actually a Ka-Bar Mule, the same folder sold to real-deal deployed soldiers. The company just replaced the tan cammo grips with some snot-green ones, provided a black blade with the "bio-hazard logo," and voila, a functional zombie knife.
The next one spooked me--a zombie axe. Made by a company called United (who make axes for soldiers, as well) they took their best selling M48 tactical axe and fitted it with green trim. It's a real axe, and one so tough even Army Rangers have trouble breaking it.
The last item floored me! I do not sell firearms related products, but I buy defensive ammo for my carry pistols. I like the Hornady brand. I had been using their bullet profile with a red insert in the hollowpoint. They now offer the same cartridge with a snot green insert in fancy zombie packaging.
If you cannot believe your eyes, please google these products, they really exist. While the ongoing writers' nightmare of zombie drek continues, at least we have first rate products for the Apocalypse!
