So basically, unless you're a Stephen King, the agent/major publisher route is a waste of time and effort. The odds against getting published that way about the same as winning a lottery. So that leaves small publishers or self-publishing, which are virtually dead-end streets. You know I don't think I'm being negative, just realistic. ;D
