Hi all. I'm here to gain an insight into writing and hopefully improve my deplorable skills.

Howdy bubblegum91.
I've only been here a few days but so far I find the people here kind and courteous.
I really hope you enjoy your time with us.
@amylou 1991 -- I vaguely remember reading On The Road. Hearing something about Timothy Leary. Buying my first Grateful Dead album...and then...It was 1995 and I found myself naked and painted purple in a bus station somewhere in Northern Alberta.

But yeah, the 90's were a blur between graduating, college, pearl jam and marriage! hope that purple paint wasn't too hard to get off!

Welcome bubblegum91, I think you will find a friendly and helpful group here.
Amylou, as for being a few years your senior, I loved the grunge starting with AIC in book.

Never tried for the look. My top three were AIC, Candlebox, Pearl Jam.
Even though Nirvana was the impetus, I just didn't really care for them.
Interesting though how music and writing changes over time.

Thnx writer2011 and Richard. I vaguely remember grunge. Mostly through repeats of music vids shows and my older cousins' fascination for it. I remember we deconstructed a Alice in Chains music vid for class. It was pretty cool, but my teach was headbanging and "singing" so also really scary o.0
