The truth is, this is something most of us would never be aware of. I'm no expert, and do not have the numbers to identify how much, and how long, exposure is necessary to cause significant problems. I know that after the Chernobyl accident, a nuclear cloud drifted across Canada. I believe that whatever happens in the world affects us all. Ditto for nuclear testing, whether it's underground or not.
