;D Well I am so happy that things are finally starting to take some sort of shape for the first book, no it is not finished as of yet it is still rough but it is starting to make some sort of sense now! OK well good news bad news time! Good News: I have finally finished the first book, it is being content edited now. Bad news: I am not looking forward to rewrites! But I am super excited about how the first book ends. I hope it is not to gimmicky. The few people who have read the whole thing seem to like the ending however they are all people I know and care about so perhaps they are not the best judges. So once again: Would anyone like to beta read? I won't need you for about eight more weeks, and the book is only about 60-70k words. If you want to read and give honest feedback about what works, what does not work, what you love or what you hate feel free to post a reply and I will pm you once it is ready. Thanks in advance, ~BL~ PS. The genre is Fantasy with a heavy bend on religious mythology and general mythology some of them are rather obscure. Also the punctuation issues will be sorted out before it gets to you! Because yeah I'm just bad at that. LOL. |

Well The final draft is plucking along at a decent clip, I should have it finished by the end of Jan  Then I get to restart book 2 (again) It's such a mess I'm not looking forward to it but... Hey could be fun. I have been working with a wonderful person as a writing partner and have found that it has greatly improved my skills. We are thinking of starting a crit group on Facebook so if anyone is interested please let me know. Because we wish to keep it on a higher lvl than the ones either of us have been part of in the past we will be asking for a sample submission to see if you would be a good fit skill wise. However this group will NOT replace places such as this because the scope of the group will be limited to reviewing and giving feed back on CURRENT WIP's only. If that sounds like something you might be interested in feel free to let me know and we will start setting things up. |

I finally got my fantasy novel finished and was going to post the first chapter here for review, but I like the sound of this facebook group and will wait for more details.
