Please post no more than 200 words of your manuscript for review. And it would be appreciated if you returned the favour by critiquing the work of others. Thanks, and have a great summer.

Adding to that: How about word count? How about genre? How about age range? Of course the regular warning of sex, language, pedophilia or racial content. Any and all things another may find offensive. Perhaps the last thing any of us need is an angry crit which maybe off balance when we have someone reading it who doesn't choose to.
Lily is right, of course, it is hard tot ake you seriously if you have 1 post to your credit. I am not suggesting there is a minimum number required but if I am take time out of my writing schedule, I like to feel that I am offering my opinion to one of us, not some fly by nighter who may never return.
Thanks for the crit is usually not expected but I certain appreciate it. MORE, I do like a crit on the crit. Where a particular critique strikes a cord with you, some one or two words resonate with you, or a sentence rearangement now says exactly what yo wnt it to say, where as b4 you had a confusing statement.
My limited experience has shown me that I can rewrite YOUR work far better than writing my own. Ain't it always the way? But just a few kind words to express that a partial in a crit inspired you makes me feel worthwhile for the time I have allocated from my personal life. I believe other appreciate that as well. Never take a crit to heart. Some days I fall out of the wrong side of the bed and nothing can please me. If I do a crit under these circumstances, it can come across as mean and even vile. The golden rule needs to be applied, 'attack the work and never the writer'. If we can all stick to these guidelines, I feel we will generate much better results.
Good crittering critters! <GRIN>
