I'm not sure I'd go with dad's version of events on this one. Parents tend to think that their kids are perfect even when that are stupid little jerks!
I have been on a plane a few times once with a screaming baby, and the other times with loud (rude) adults. I'm sorry sit down, shut up and keep your kids quiet or FIND another plane!
But I also tend to stick with places of business where kids are not allowed EVER. I really enjoy finding signs at eateries that say "If your kid/s is cranky come back later" Or "No children under the age of 18 allowed"
Those places make me very happy and I have a kid! But I made sure that if I had to fly with him (once) that he was well fed, clean, dry, and had plenty of things he could do quietly during the three hrs of flight time. Luckily he slept most of the way. ROFL.

Screaming, badly behaved kids can be nervewracking enough in a shopping mall but in a small enclosed place like a plane its that much worse. I bet the other passengers were glad to see the noise maker evicted.

Meanwhile that family's luggage was sent onto their destination, and their plans were shot up in the air. Don't be surprised if they file a lawsuit against the airline.

Yeah everyone is sue happy. I'm sorry but the flight people did the right thing, no one wants to be trapped 30 thousand feet above ground with no escape from the crying and screaming and all that jazz, unless of course you have a parachute! But then you go to jail once back on land for opening the planes door...
