I just joined Where writers meet today.
I'm retired, married for forty-four years and I have been writing for over thirty-five years, published since 1985.
In the main, I write children's stories, but my most recent published paperback is a collection of short stories called, First Communion. This collectiion of modern Irish stories was published by a Washington publisher, www.barkingrainpress.org and is out in Amazon and soon to be ebooked in Fictionwise etc.
I have started a blog on Tumblr- see my website, www.jackscoltock.com
Writing, for me is a relaxing, enjoyable, fullfilling hobby.
