Hi, I'm writing a novel based on romance, and as of now i think the plot have been changed it to an hundredth time. Now that i have no confusion with the plot, the story keeps going, and i have a feeling I'm on to a good start. And in about 7 months I'd be moving to Newyork, but right now I live in India, and getting an agent here is not a good idea, or so i have been told. In the next three weeks my novel will be over, that is the first draft and with the editing an all it might be taking some extra time. Now the point of this thread is I don't know if i have to publish here, in India or should I publish In Ny. I'm not coming from a rich background, but I got a chance to pursue my carrier in New york as an acting student. So if anyone thinks publishing in New york is an good idea, pls let me know and basically i like to think positive that's why my view of publishing in Ny is a better idea. If any agrees or not, but give your views. Tx- Richard

Hey Rich, What part of india? My hubby is from Chennai! As for where to publish that depends on you really. Who is your target audiance, what language is it in? I know a guy who owns a publishing place in India, if push comes to shove I'll get you in contact with him. Wait till you get here then answer all those q's that need an answer. Good luck and keep in touch.

Cool So yeah once you are settled in I'm sure everyone here will help you bring your book to the tables, but I'm pretty sure you are not ready just yet. But you have a finished draft so don't despair won't be long till you are 100% ready. However, it is never a good idea to try and tackle a big project while going through life changes, moving marriage, divorce death of a loved one, babies etc. Just makes for a hectic time. When do you get here? I live in VA about 4 hrs south of New York City.
