What has Amazon done wrong except to be a better competitor in a free enterprise society? These bozos are just jealous. There are a lot of deadbeat publishers around who thougth their way or the highway would go on forever. Then Amazon came along. I say good on them.

It’s difficult to criticize Amazon because they make it possible for me to earn thousands a month as a self-published writer. I have to admit they are a cold company to deal with, and it’s easy to run afoul of them. Once you do make a mistake and they turn on you, your business relationship with them is over, and there is no human to talk to, just a cold computer-produced email. I have read other writers’ sad tales, and try to be very careful not to break any of their rules while publishing and selling through them. Money is at stake, and there is no appeal when they bring down the axe. Many writers have been banned from publishing through them. I do not want to be one of them! When you’re making thousands a month, you do not want that income to be suddenly cut off. Over a decade, the money can really add up.
