I don't know how people can get excited about any of them. Obama is a natural disaster leaving a wake of destruction behind him, and his future competition seems little better. Both parties are relatively interchangeable. If you look on information sites like www.opensecrets.org/ you'll see big business is behind both the Dems and the GOP, and sometimes contribute equally to both. They can say they are against big money all they want, but that doesn't have anything to do with their actions. They are master spell casters and work the media to their ends while the sheeple follow their preferred poison. The only candidate that would ever have a chance to be different than the "status quo," is someone outside the Washington group. Otherwise, it is just a slight variation of the same problems. But I will say, along with Lily, that Santorum and Gingrich are less than inspiring.

There is no way anyone who told the truth about what must be done to save America from the total collapse of the US Dollar under the weight of promises of free healthcare and retirement could ever get elected. Since FDR brought Socialism to America, all votes are bought with promises of OPM, other people’s money. How many votes would James Madison get today? “Charity is no legislative duty of government." How about Lincoln? “We all declare for liberty; but in using the same word we do not all mean the same thing. With some the word liberty may mean for each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of his labor; while with others, the same word may mean for some men to do as they please with other men, and the product of other men’s labor. Here are two, not only different, but incompatible things, called by the same name—liberty. And it follows that each of the things is, by the respective parties, called by two different and incompatible names—liberty and tyranny.” A small, weak, inexpensive government with no Socialism leech programs is freedom; a large, powerful, expensive government consisting of mostly Socialism leech programs is tyranny. A government cannot give a penny to anyone without first stealing it from someone else.
