I checked this out. Very interesting. Gonna dig a little deeper on this one. Could be a "biggy" with writers searching for direction for their work. Thanks Lily!

I finally wrote my novel after packin it around in my head for ever. I even wrote it once on pen and paper. I also had that fear of failure about the whole project, but finally life gave me the time to do it, so I did. Now I'm even working on my second novel, and I like it better than the first. There are many authors on this site, and everyone here is very helpful and honest when it comes to helping out new and aspiring authors. I say go for it! If you do it and YOU like it. How could it be a failure? Good Luck!

You don't have to publish a book, or even show it to anyone else if you don't want to. If you are happy with it when it is done, and don't want to do anything else with it, there are services where you can get a single copy of a book made, just for yourself.

Thank you so much Horseman, that makes so much sense. I think I will head to that and decide afterwards. Great advice, thanks.

Then once I'm into the story, I become like a writing machine. It's like a drug. There's no high like it. I close out the world. I've been writing for years now and have several books in print, also some ebooks. Make yourself sit down and write just a page a day. It doesn't matter what it's like, it will (eventually) get you into the swing of things. Good luck.
