Before I wrote my latest novel, I searched the internet to see if the title I chose was already in use. It was not.
I just finished my 1st draft, searched for the title again, and wouldn't you know it, someone just put out an E-book with the title I was going to use.
Now I have to think of a new title, when I already had, not only the title to the first book, but planned on the title being used in a series.
Oh well.

That is similar to what I done with a characters name in my own novel. I had chosen a name I thought was perfect, and found out it had came from a book I had read not long ago. Went back and changed a few letters around, just for peace of mind. I read a few articles on that subject, as to how we can subconsciously store names and even parts of stories in our minds, and bring them up later without even remembering where we got the idea. That internet search, is always a good idea, before we even touch pen to paper about a new story, and you have shown it's also a good idea, to do it before we publish. Maybe you will think of a better title this second time around. Good luck man!

Maybe you will think of a better title this second time around. Good luck man! I wasn't happy about it at first, but I think I do have a more appropriate title now. In the process, I found many I had to pass on because others thought they were good too. I checked them out first and found them to be in use. When you use a one word title, it makes it a lot more challenging. Thanks.
