The teachers are going on strike because of his government's attack on their pensions. Now the PM has advised people not to let this stop them going to work. "Take the children with you", he said. This is an incredibly silly suggestion. It could involve hundreds of children suddenly showing up at a factory, office or store. Who is going to look after these children? Who is going to provide a safe, children-friendly environment and provide entertainment and meals, etc.?
