Yeah it was a blast! Too bad it rained us out the last 2 days but otherwise it was ideal. And how was your holiday Rich?

ROFL I am so glad I do not celibrate these silly holidays. I don't celebrate them either. I don't even put in a pittance with the salvation army ringers. But I am a sucker for a person on the side of the street with a street sign. I even gave a guy a couple of dollars because I thought he was honest. His sign said, "Why lie, I need a beer." I thought, who doesn't. So I gave him some. ;D

Great to have you back, BL. You've been missed. India must have been quite the experience. I look forward to hearing all about it. I get my Christmas shopping done early and avoid the malls in December. I don't like this time of year, cold and dreary and dark by four. The Christmas lights and festivities brighten it up. I used to dish out cash to pan-handlers, but now there are so many of them it's no longer possible. The powers-that-be need to help those people. There's a huge underprivileged underclass that just keeps getting bigger. You don't see many females rattling the cup, but when I do I always give them something. I guess because it seems that much worse for a woman to be in that position, homeless and destitute. And in this kind of weather too, brrrr....

Yeah I agree... but research has shown that ladies whom are homeless tend to fare better than the gents, mainly because people will donate to a female long before they will help out a male. But the flip side of that is that most of these women fall prey to pimps and other nasty underworld issues.
