I like Action Outline for plotting. Otherwise, I use anything that will give me an .rtf file.

Thanks Lily I will def have to check these out! I ran across a "free" 'editor' program where you get a 7 day free trial where it will check your work for most everything from riped off lines to verb confusion however they want your CC info to enter the trial period. If you forget to cancel is 29$ a month there after...

Openoffice, google docs, celtx -- All rock.
I'd love to get my hands on a mac to try some of their apps.
I refuse to send money on computer apps and therefore do not use windows or any of their expensive products.
