AAA has warned about E15 fuel in cars predating 2012. Check with your car manufacturer to see if they are one that will not honor warranties if you use this fuel. www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2012/11/30/aaa-e15-gas-harm-cars/1735793/video.foxbusiness.com/v/2000862202001/The bad thing is, by Federal regulation a set tonnage each year of corn is set aside for fuel regardless of crop production. That is why prices of cereals, pork, beef, chicken, and other grain fed animals and their products, etc., etc. go up regularly. Several restaurant owners I know clued me in on this recently explaining how costs of certain food products are affected by the governments interference with grains and fuel. Some people who think E15 is cost efficient don't realize it is far from it. You pay maybe 5-10% less for one thing, while you pay 10-35% more for several other things which are affected by the one. (Bacon was one of the things that they said they pay more than triple for, in the last two years, because of corn shortages for pig food) Many people are fooled by slight of hand. Protect yourself if you have such a vehicle and use the fuel. Make sure your manufacturer is holding up their end of the deal.
