Hurricane Sandy's effect on election

I think the storm may give Romney a slight edge, because the States hardest hit, such as New York, always vote Democrat. I can't imagine those who went through Sandy, and have been flooded and without power ever since, would be too concerned about getting out to the polling booth. I know I wouldn't.
