No that was my briliant husband over loading the socket. As I dug into the mess I found he had pluged in a multi plug power strip and then piggy backed another one into that one... He had like 9 things connected to that one wall outlet. > .> Anyhow all is well that ends well. Rather than start a fire, I'm surprised this overloading didn't trip the circuit-breaker, or blow a fuse, depending on which system you have. Scary!
